We open a new chapter in industrial riveting with the AVDEL NeoSpeed speed blind rivet system. Based on modern pull-through technology with reusable rivet mandrels, installation cycles can be achieved of between double and four times the speed of using existing methods. Furthermore, the patented design with external ribs covers a greater grip range, thus at the same time replacing several different fasteners where these are only designed to handle a certain material thickness. In addition, the NeoSpeed rivet is not affected by larger than usual drill-hole tolerance or offset holes. That means fastenings are secure and there are no rattles such as can arise due to shifting in the shear level when other products are used. Another feature of this system is that no waste mandrels are produced, which not only saves metal but also means there is no risk of foreign bodies getting into the workpiece and interrupting the production process. In applications in the automotive, electronics and electrical industries as well as in lightweight structural building and household appliances, when compared with other products, the NeoSpeed system is totally convincing on account of its higher tensile strength and a higher than average shear strength.

The fasteners are available in aluminium, steel and A4 stainless steel (316) and in diameters 3.2 mm, 4 mm and 4.8 mm either in mushroom-head or countersunk versions. Apart from paper magazines for re-usable mandrels, pre-loaded cartridges on disposable mandrels are also available (not countersunk or stainless steel). For reliable installation, we recommend you use one of the pneumatic tools 7530 or 7537.
